Permissions Policy

With the exception of “guest posts” written by others (see Guest Posts below), we own the content on this Web site. It is copyrighted by Development & Leadership Coaching, LLC’s name. We want to strike the appropriate balance between getting our content widely distributed while at the same time protecting our intellectual property rights. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Without Our Permission

You are free to do the following without our permission:

• Link to our site or any specific post on our site.
• Extract and re-post less than 200 words on any other site, provided you link back to our original post.
• Print off our posts and photocopy up to 50 copies for internal distribution within your own company or organization.
• Print our posts in any non-commercial publication (e.g., company newsletter, church newsletter, class syllabus, etc.), provided you include this copyright notice: “© 2016 Development & Leadership Coaching, LLC. All rights reserved. Originally published at developmentandleadership.org.”

Not Without Our Permission

You must have our express written consent to do any of the following:

• Use this content in for commercial purposes, including selling or licensing printed or digital versions of our content.

Re-posting and Translation Rights

We do not permit the re-posting of our posts in their entirety. This is because Google penalizes websites for publishing duplicate content. It often can’t tell which site hosts the original, so we risk getting penalized for granting permission.

In addition, we don’t allow the translation and publication of our work in other languages. We simply won’t have the resources to validate the quality of the work.

Guest Posts

Guest bloggers or content providers retain the copyright to the posts they write. The above permission guidelines do not apply to their work. If you are interested in re-posting or publishing their content, you must contact them directly. We cannot serve as a broker, agent, or contact point.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive for tech support, customer service, email updates and to send registered users their unlock codes. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

All online credit card transactions are performed only on secure servers through a secure SSL connection.

User Submissions

For all reviews, comments, feedback, postcards, suggestions, ideas, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered to Development & Leadership Coaching, LLC via developmentandleadership.org, by e-mail or telephone, by mail, or otherwise disclosed, submitted or offered in connection with your use of this Site (collectively, “User Submissions”) you grant the Company a royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable right and license to use the User Submissions however the Companies desire, including without limitation, to copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and/or distribute such User Submissions and/or incorporate such User Submissions into any form, medium or technology throughout the world.

The Companies will be entitled to use, reproduce, disclose, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, publish, display and distribute any User Submissions you submit for any purpose whatsoever, without restriction and without compensating you in any way. The Companies are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any User Submissions in confidence; (2) to pay to user any compensation for any User Submissions; or (3) to respond to any User Submissions.
