This is one of the most important things I could ever share with you.
I’ve noticed that most leaders hate the idea of having to ask people for money.
While there are a few folks who have chosen “fundraising” as their profession, most leaders, if they are honest would choose to move the work of raising money off their plate if they could. While you truly may never “enjoy” asking people for money, I do believe that if you resolve a couple of things in your own heart, you can overcome that fear of turning into a used-car salesman or the feeling of self-loathing that I know some people endure. It is indeed possible to learn how to ask for money without hating yourself.
